Management & IT Cyber Risk Workshop
Join your IT manager or information security manager at Delfgauw and work on a first cyber risk analysis for your own organisation in one afternoon. You name what is critical, where digital dependencies are and what risks require board-level attention.
- Management and IT use different words for the same digital risks.
- Critical processes and their digital dependencies have not yet been discussed together.
- The organisation relies on measures and suppliers, while important assumptions still need to be substantiated.
- There is a need for a practical starting point for board-level choices and further deepening.
What are the risks? Without a shared image IT mainly assesses the technique and sends the management on incomplete information. This will keep the dependencies, impact and ownership fragmented and may delay necessary decisions.
Our promise of service

You work with your own organizational context and immediately make a first risk analysis during the workshop. The guidance links business continuity, technology, suppliers, impact and board-level responsibility.

Management & IT Cyber Risk Workshop
What is the Executive Board & IT Cyber Risk Workshop?
A small-scale interactive workshop in which a director or managing director together with the IT, digitalisation or information security manager makes a first risk analysis. Both perspectives come together in one shared risk picture and a concrete first prioritisation.
When does this service fit?
Who is this cyber risk workshop intended for?
You're enrolling two participants from the same organisation. The first participant shall be director, managing director or member of the Executive Board. The second participant is responsible for IT, digitisation or information security. The duo-design makes differences in language, assumptions and perspective directly negotiable.
- The management wants to link digital risks to continuity, finance and responsibility.
- IT aims to make technical dependencies and uncertainties administratively negotiable.
- You want to decide together which risks and research questions are priority.

What do we do during the workshop?
We start with the organisation and then translate into digital dependencies, scenarios, impact, control and priorities.
Critical services
Name what the organisation should be able to continue to do and what processes, personal data and obligations are included.
Digital dependencies
Display systems, cloud platforms, identity, backup, links and suppliers.
Realistic scenarios
Ransomware, account takeover, SaaS failure, a data breach and vendor failure translate to its own organisation.
Impact
Assessing effects on operation, finances, obligations, people, continuity, reputation and oversight.
Existing control
Identifying trust-based assumptions that are still open and where additional justification is needed.
Initial priorities
Determine which risks and uncertainties are the first to demand attention and where ownership lies.
Your result
A first risk assessment for your own organisation
After the workshop, management and IT have a joint starting point for further deepening, decisions and ownership.
- A first risk analysis information security of the own organisation.
- An overview of important processes and digital dependencies.
- A first set of relevant cyber scenarios and a common picture of the impact.
- View of existing control and open uncertainties.
- A first priority and concrete follow-up questions.
- A digital working document that can be further deepened within the organisation.
